Recycar was the first certified centre for the depollution of end-of-life cars in Belgium.

Before shredding, our teams manually depollute the end-of-life cars; liquids (oil, fuel, coolant, brake fluid) are extracted, batteries and oil filters are removed.

Some parts such as doors, lights and rear-view mirrors that are still in good condition may be resold in the second-hand market.

Once all of these operations have been realized, the depolluted carcass is transported to the shredder at our Obourg site for material recovery.
